Today I went to visit "Testimonios de la Barbarie" by Fernando Botero, unmistakable artist by its way to depict women, men, daily life, historical events and characters, with exaggerated and disproportionate volumetry, accompanied by fine details of scathing criticism, irony, humor, and ingenuity

Botero is an abstract artist in the most fundamental sense, choosing colors, shapes, and proportions based on intuitive aesthetic thinking.
Through different techniques such as watercolor, oil and charcoal, Botero represents human feelings and passions that occurred in kidnappings, killings and torture that were present in Latin America.
